Division of Exploratory Studies
Requirements
- Freshmen and Sophomores (Note: Freshmen must stay in the college of their admittance throughout their first year at Illinois unless an exception has been approved by both colleges)
- GPA: 2.0 Illinois GPA
- You must have completed no more than 4 semesters of full-time enrollment at Illinois (or when combining Illinois enrollment with regular-semester enrollment at other institutions). This does not include summer semesters.
- Students must meet with the EXP Senior Associate Director for Enrollment and Access to be considered. Students can make an appointment by calling the EXP office at 217-333-4710.
Application Deadlines
An ICT application for the current term may be submitted through the 10th business day of the semester. After the 10th day, if approved, the ICT will go into effect for the start of the following semester.
