Student Success Early Screening and Support Project
The Student Success Early Screening and Support Project (ESSP) was an innovative initiative involving partnerships to provide personalized guidance and support for the academic journey of Illinois Scholars Program (ISP) students through a tiered analysis system, data-driven insights, screening, assessments, and referrals to campus resources. This pilot was completed in Fall 2023.
First Year Experience Course Pilot
As part of the Mental Health Early Action on Campus grant legislation, Student Success @ Illinois partnered with the College of Media and the Grainger College of Engineering in Fall 2023 to increase mental health and wellness content within first year courses. Content and course development was created with the assistance from Campus Recreation and the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics. This pilot was expanded to include all academic colleges and units with support from the Mental Health Early Action on Campus grant.
